Getting Personal with Desi Scheck of RetroFocusEyewear.com

I cant believe its a year since I entered a blog post. But this time I'm writing about me, Desi, Margarita*Mamma. If you care to take a few minutes to read my thoughts I've laid them out. Feel free to leave If you couldn't give two craps. A lot happened in the year 2014 which has given me strength to keep doing what I do, better in 2015. That is to provide the coolest readers and specs with the most personal service which supersedes any treatment you'd get from my competition. I'm grateful for those of you who have found my site and placed your orders. I love it even more when you take a few minutes to tell me how you like them. An email or a post on our Facebook page is totally grand to me. You know I get a thrill when I make you beyond happy. Last year was one of the most difficult years for my family. In May of 2014 my father was diagnosed with PSP which is short for Progressive Supra Nuclear Palsy. A rare muscular degenerative disease for which there is no cure and often misdiagnosed as Parkinson's Disease. Actor Dudley Moore died from this. With this diagnosis we sold my parents home in August and I found them the perfect 'special needs' apartment 5 minutes from my home. When they say that moving is one of the most stressful periods of your life that is an understatement when you throw in PSP and a time restraint. The sooner we got them in an apartment with no stairs, the safer my parents would be. Dad's condition took priority and I had a hard time 'prioritizing' my priorities if you know what I mean. The stress of being pulled in many directions affected my home based businesses and my responsibilities as a mother, wife and daughter. There were times I thought I'd go 'postal' along with my parcels. There were times I needed a big long tight hug. There were times I wanted to meet with an 18 wheeler and get a long nights sleep. In December something snapped within me. I took the bull by the horns and looked him straight in the face. I made some business changes and watched my sales grow. Which in turn eased the tuition payment of my daughter's 6th semester in St. John's University. My parents decided to drive down to Florida one last time together as a couple. It gave me a bit of respite. A little 'me' time which basically meant working more hours 'playing catch up' on my 3 websites. Perseverance paid off. It's April 2015. Sales have tripled. I hope to see more of you writing to me. Tell me anything. I'm not just some random employee at Retro Focus Eyewear. I listen and respond immediately as I AM Retro Focus Eyewear. Everything about RFE is personal cause nothing pleases me more than when you're happy and come back for another pair. Desi xx
