Tart Optical style is called 'Arnel'.  These are original,  not reproductions,  new old stock, never worn inventory from a retired optician's optical shop.  I have 2 sizes in black. Redwood is sold out.   Please know the overal frame width only changes by about 1/8-3/16" aproximately when you put the 40-20 size next to the 42-22 size.  Please pay close attention to the specs below.

I realize the difficulty of buying eyewear online. An exception to my 14 day eyewear return policy,
I EMPHASIZE you should measure a pair of your own frames to see if these will fit you,
as not all heads are the same size. Because there is such a huge counterfeit market for these I will not accept a return on these.

These are sized for a narrow sized face.  I have a narrow face and they are perfect on me.  From the film 'A Curious Case of Benjamin Button',  Brad Pitt is wearing a larger size as you can see there's a lot of lens area around his eyes.   The ones offered here are NOT a large size.  I am the model in the photo,  I am wearing the 42-22's.  Johnny Depp owns this style in practically all the colors they were offered in.

If you have any questions,  feel free to contact me through the 'Contact Us' link on the top of every page.

These are frames from the 1950's,  and come with their original paper product sleeves.  How cool is that?  The Red pair is not stamped with the Tart Optical logo,  but does come with it's paper product bag.  The blacks are priced according to size demand and condition which is NEW Unused. Tart Optical is known for their exceptional craftsmanship and use 7 barrel riveted hinges on all their frames.

They are straightened and ready for your optician to put your lenses into them.  The frames themselves are in excellent condition with very minor surface wear which I will take a light polishing cloth to them before I ship.  No shrinkage, and no yellowing of the clear portion.  They were stored very well.  The redwood pair has a white halo around the studs,  I'll give them another ultrasonic bath and pay closer attention to removing that halo.
