44-20-140 Vintage Hornrim

ESO Explorer MCM Glasses
EXPLORER-44-20-140-SMOKE fade to clear hornrim eyewear, new old stock 1950's. Eastern States Optical Co. Gorgeous transparent frames that softly take on a hue of the color of your skin.

These gorgeous grey fade to crystal frames are new unused vintage inventory from the 1950's.
Average adult sized face.
As worn by Matt Damon in the film ’The Talented Mr. Ripley’.
Grey fade crystal eyeglass frames excellent new unused condition and ready for your own Rx.
I have 1 pair.
A great pair of gender neutral hornrims.
My last pair.

These are not returnable because there are many counterfeits of this style.
Grey is a cool cast and because of the frames' transparent attributes it will take on the hue of your skin color.
Clear half is clear and has not yellowed.
Shiny silver hardware and sturdy riveted barrel hinges.

Please make sure you read the stated measurements and compare them to a pair you currently wear by referring to the chart in the photos on where to measure your own frames.  THESE ARE NOT RETURNABLE because they are being counterfeited..
Frames are NOT one size fit all!

These suit an average oval, rectangular or heart shaped face.  Wear what you like.
Not all frames were identified on the temple back then, (rather on their product sleeves...) therefore most frames go unknown as far as manufacturers were concerned.
These are not marked Eastern States Optical though I have and had a large selection of vintage frames with ESO product sleeves.  This style also came in a light brown fade and Striped Demi Amber (sold out).
This style is called 'Explorer'.

Our frames are guaranteed with a free replacement or refund in case the lab damages them while they install your lenses, or their opticians tell me that the frame you purchased from me is not optical quality. They are the ONLY opticians I trust with that reason and I will accept returns on that purchase. No other optician would give you such a promise. Only we do. This is My guarantee that the frames I sell are optical quality frames. Tell them Desi sentcha from Retro Focus Eyewear.
