12k GF Windsor Eyeglasses
1920's Windsor spectacles with saddle bridge and coil temples. 12k Gold filled frame. Suited for a narrow to wide faces. Saddle bridge marked 12 J K O Co.

The Windsor style was first introduced in 1880 and remained popular until after WWI.
Windsors came in silver, roman steel, gold filled, gold, and nickel.
1920's round 12K gold filled spectacles. Pre-owned.

The surface of the gold metal is in excellent condition and they haven't lost their shine.
Though I could have polished the outer temples with a light cloth but didn't want to risk the possibility of the color changing even though gold filled is not like plated...
plates wear off with use.  Gold filled takes a lot longer to fade,  but does eventually wear.
These are in fantastic condition.  Ready for your own Rx.
They're about 100 years old.
Saddle bridge marked 12 J K O Co.
Very little discoloration of the gold only on the ends of the coil.
Hardly noticeable.
Will accommodate most average prescriptions and bifocal scripts as well.

The lenses are very scratched.
The lenses are the previous owners' prescription and seem to be +2.00-2.50 on the top and very strong +4.00 or thereabouts on the bottom bifocal part.
I sell reading glasses for a living and this is just an educated guess based upon my 20 years experience in reading glasses.
Coil is a bit strong and you may need to have it bent by your optician so that its' curve isn't so severe.
The person who wore these had a short distance between the front of his face and the curve of his ear.

You won't be disappointed. Signature required upon delviery. 1 pair available.
