Crossbow Readers
1890's inspired wire metal small adult sized head oval reading glasses for that steampunk lover

SOLD OUT. . Not getting these back in.

These are copies of a victorian era pair of specs that were called 'Crossbow'. They were typically made of steel with pin hinged wire temples curving over the ear. I am an avid collector of these eccentric spectacles that I occasionally wear. Very popular today in the Steampunk movement.

These are reading glasses for NARROW or SMALL heads that warrant short temples. These temples measure only 5 1/4" long (135mm) and as you can see from the black and white profile photo, when worn low on the nose these barely go over my ears. They do stay on, they feel like nothing when you're wearing them. If you like this type of reader, then these are for you.

Reading glasses have always been viewed as an afterthought. Though with my help, this will change, and pretty soon, for every pair of shoes in your closet, will be a pair of matching readers...... Styles that are way too cool for your local drug store.

Do what you want, wear what you like...that's what I'm here for.

I'm all over the place.

It's all good.
